<strong>Kidz</strong>Kitchen
About KidzKitchen

At KidzKitchen we have two goals: to show kids they can learn through having fun and enjoying themselves and to open their minds to new experiences each day. We want all children to feel as though if they put their mind to something they can do it.

Lucy Williams, the creator of KidzKitchen, has a tremendous amount of experience with working with young children and creating and cooking fun recipes. She has worked with children and cooking through community service, babysitting and birthday parties, and has been running KidzKitchen since the summer of 2004. "The best thing about this camp," she says, "is that each year I learn something new whether it be a new way to connect with the campers or just a new recipe or game. But I just know that KidzKitchen will be just a little bit better the next time because I have new knowledge that can be applied."

A typical camp day involves cooking a delicious recipe in the morning, creating a beautiful arts & crafts project, playing fun lawn games and finally ending our full day by hitting the pool for a swim (with a lifeguard on duty, of course!). Our first priority at KidzKitchen are the campers and one, their safety and then two, that they are having fun at camp.

KidzKitchen is open for three weeks this year, running five days a week. If you're interested in being a chef at KidzKitchen summer camp, hop on board. We can't wait to see you there!
