WORMS IN DIRT
(Serves 8)

  • 1 16-ounce package of OREO type cookies
  • 2 cups of cold milk
  • 1 package of small JELL-O Chocolate (Instant) Pudding
  • 1 tub (8 oz.) of COOL WHIP Topping , thawed slightly
  • Gummy worms
  • Individual serving cups

CRUSH cookies in zip-lock style plastic bag with hands, use rolling pin if you find it more helpful

POUR cold milk into a large bowl. Then add the pudding mix and beat the mixture with a wire whisk. Let it stand for a few minutes, and then stir in the whipped topping and 1/2 of the crushed cookies

PLACE about 1 tablespoon crushed cookies into each of the cups. Fill the cups about 3/4 full with the pudding mixture and top with remaining crushed cookies

REFRIGERATE until ready to serve ad garnish with gummy worms just before serving

MARSHMALLOW SHISHKABOBS

  • 1 bag of chocolate chips
  • Marshmallows
  • Pretzel rods or shish kabobs sticks
  • Sprinkles
  • Mini M&M’s
  • Crushed cookies

PUT the chocolate chips in a bowl and melt

TAKE a pretzel or a shish kabob stick, and put as many marshmallows as you want on it (2 or 3 marshmallows work best)

ROLL the marshmallows in the chocolate and then roll them in the toppings

PLACE in the freezer and let it sit in there for about 2 minutes (you do not have to put in the freezer)

LASAGNA

  • Lasagna noodles (about 1 ½ packs)
  • Prepared marinara sauce (26 oz.)
  • Ricotta cheese (1 container)
  • Mozzarella cheese (1 pack)
  • Salt & Pepper
  • Ground beef (2 ½ lbs.)
 
PREHEAT oven to 375 degrees
 
BOIL salted and a tiny bit of oil in water in a very large pot to a rapid boil. Once it is boiling add in the noodles, stir occasionally
 
PUT the meat into a large frying pan and turn the stove on to high, take a wooden cooking spoon and separate the meat so there are no pink spots. Add a little salt and pepper for a stronger taste. Keep doing this motion for about 7 or 8 minutes or until fully brown
 
DRAIN the meat using a large colander to get the oil out. Once it is completely drained, put into a large bowl
 
PUT a thin layer (2 spoonfuls) of marinara sauce into the 9 ½ x 11 baking pan. Add 1 tablespoon of olive oil and smear to cover the bottom of the pan
 
ADD the rest of the marinara sauce to the cooked meat in the large bowl and mix it together thoroughly
 
LAYER the noodles, ground beef and ricotta cheese starting with the noodles (noodles, ground beef and sauce, ricotta cheese, etc.) Keep layering until you reach the top and can not be layered anymore,
 
SPRINKLE the mozzarella cheese on the top and add some ground beef.

BANANA BREAD


  • 3 cups all-purpose flour
  • 2 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 2 cup white sugar
  • 4 eggs, beaten
  • 1/2 cup butter, melted
  • 6 bananas, mashed
GREASE AND FLOUR two 7x3 inch loaf pans

PREHEAT oven to 350 degrees

WHISK together flour, soda, salt, and sugar in one bowl

MIX in slightly beaten eggs, melted butter, and mashed bananas

STIR in nuts if desired

POUR into prepared pans

BAKE for 1 hour

CHICKEN NOODLE SOUP (Serves 6)
  • Extra-Virgin Olive Oil
  • 4-6 celery ribs
  • 1 bunch of carrots
  • 1 large onion
  • Salt and pepper
  • 8 cups of chicken stock
  • 1/2 pound of egg noodles (extra-wide)
  • 1 pound of chicken tenders

HEAT the olive oil in a large pot

CHOP the onion, celery and carrots and add to pot

SEASON the mixture with salt and pepper

ADD the chicken stock to the pot and bring to a boil

ADD the the noodles and stir

COOK the chicken, almost fully, in a separate pan

CUT the chicken into small pieces and add to the soup

SIMMER until chicken is thoroughly cooked

BLUEBERRY PANCAKES (Makes 8 pancakes)

  • 1 1/4 cup of flour
  • 1 teaspoon of baking powder
  • A pinch of salt
  • 2/3 cup of milk
  • 1 egg
  • 1/4 cup of sugar
  • 1 cup of fresh blueberries
  • Non-Stick baking spray

SIFT baking powder, salt and flour into a mixing bowl

STIR in sugar

CRACK the egg into a separate bowl, add milk and whisk the two together

POUR the milk and egg mixture into the flour mixture and beat with a spoon

FOLD in the blueberries carefully as not to crush them

SPRAY a large frying pan with the non-stick spray over medium heat

LADLE two spoonfuls of the batter into the pan and fry two minutes or until bubbles form on the top and the underside turns a golden brown

FLIP the pancake with a spatula and begin to cook the other side

CHICKEN WRAPS (Makes 8 wraps)

  • 4 skinless, boneless chicken breasts
  • 1 yellow pepper
  • 1 red pepper
  • 1 orange pepper
  • 1 cup of snow peas
  • 8 flour tortillas
  • 1/2 lime
  • 2 tablespoons of honey
  • A pinch of salt
  • 1 tablespoon of sunflower oil
  • A couple dashes of hot sauce
 
PREHEAT oven to 400 degrees
 
SLICE and de-seed the peppers into equal strips (about 8 each)
 
MIX the oil, honey, hot sauce and salt together and stir in the chicken strips (until completely coated with the flavoring)
 
HEAT the frying pan and add the coated chicken

FRY the chicken until halfway cooked
 
REMOVE from frying pan and cut into 24 strips
 
PUT back into the pan and cook until chicken is completely cooked
 
PLACE the tortillas in the oven for 6-8 minutes (covered with foil)
 
ADD the peppers, snow peas and lime juice to the pan of the chicken and stir occasionally

TAKE a single tortilla and add 3 strips of chicken, 3 slices of pepper and a few peas
 
WRAP the tortillas and serve

CRUNCHY MUFFINS
(Makes 12 muffins)

  • 1 1/3 cup of flour
  • 1 tablespoon of baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon of salt
  • 1/2 cup of sugar
  • 1 egg
  • 2 tablespoon of corn oil
  • 1 cup of milk
  • 1 cup of fresh raspberries
  • 1 cup of white chocolate
  • 1 cup of granola
PREHEAT oven to 400 degrees

SIFT baking powder, salt and flour into a mixing bowl

STIR sugar into bowl

CRACK the egg into a separate bowl, add the oil and beat

ADD the milk to bowl and whisk the mixture

FOLD the egg mixture into the flour mixture

FOLD in chocolate and raspberries carefully as not to crush them

SPRAY your muffin pans thoroughly with non-stick baking spray or use muffin liners

SPOON the mixture into the tray and garnish with the granola

BAKE for 25 minutes and then let cool
